YES. The advice we provide is free, however if you pay for your prescription you will be charged the national prescription charge or for the cost of the treatment (whichever is cheaper).

I am not signed up with your pharmacy…Can I still access this service at DDL Davies?

YES. This service is available to anyone at DDL Davies Pharmacy across the Greater Preston area no matter which pharmacy you are signed up to.

Do I need to go through my GP?

This service is designed to save both yourself and your GP’s time as there is no need to book an appointment with the GP. If our expert pharmacist determines that you require an appointment with the GP, we will refer you to your surgery.

If my whole family is suffering from minor illness can I get something for all of them?

YES. There is no limit to how many people can access this service per family/household. However, we do impose certain limits to ensure the service is not misused.
